The artist Gaziz Gilmutdinovich Gubaidullin was born in Kazan, in 1971 he graduated from the Kazan Art College, taught at the Pioneer House of the Volga region of the capital of the republic. After graduating from the art and graphic department of the Cheboksary Pedagogical Institute in 1989, he conducted pedagogical work at art school No. 5 and at the Kazan Federal University at the Department of Design and National Arts. A teacher from God, one of the best teachers of painting, honest and soulful, sincere and principled, he, as colleagues say, is "a man who has entirely brought his life to the altar of pedagogy." In 2002 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia.
In the paintings of Gaziz Gubaidullin, in his urban and rural landscapes, the spirit of the place is subtly and soulfully conveyed; The plot canvases depict not only certain genre scenes, but also the energy of the action itself, the integrity and interconnection of the characters of the paintings with each other and with the audience. The artist often travels to nature, nature, to his beloved villages of the Vysokogorsky and Sabinsky districts, drawing inspiration there, which is reflected in the works by the game and overflow of colors.
In varying the motives of Kazan, Gaziz Gubaidullin is artistic, he is inspired not by an idea, but by a sense of beauty, or sadness. He is concerned about the transformation of a provincial and man-made, but renewing and growing city into a metropolis. Gaziz Gubaidullin is one of those Poets who will never exchange the dramatic beauty of the architecture of old Kazan for the neon facades of the modern city. Therefore, in his paintings the image of the old departing Kazan lives and warms the soul.
The exhibition runs until November 3, 2018.
