The Union of Artists of Russia opens the basic and largest project over the last five years - the XIV All-Russian Art Exhibition "RUSSIA", which has both creative and social tasks. The project began with large-scale exhibitions held in 2023 in each federal district, presenting art from all regions of the country.

The Union of Artists of Russia includes 112 branches that operate in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The most interesting works from each region were included in the exhibition. More than 500 authors participate in it - from Kamchatka to Crimea, Kaliningrad, Donetsk, Lugansk and Mariupol; from Murmansk to Vladikavkaz, including regular guests from Abkhazia and South Ossetia. In fact, we have before us a full-fledged panorama of the state of fine art in different territories of our country, which provides grounds for analyzing general trends in the culture of the republics, regions and territories.

Painting, sculpture, graphics, monumental art, decorative and applied art, folk art, theater and film art, and art history are represented. Professionally and in pursuit of evolutionary processes, the art of different geographical regions of Russia is developing differently. However, viewers are given the opportunity to evaluate modern visual content not from selected, but from all territories of the country - this is a rare and valuable advantage of this project.

Additional uniqueness is given by the works of outstanding authors, as well as the country’s greatest artists who have passed away over the past five years. In addition, a number of new names and works of young creators from Siberia, the Urals, the Far East, etc. are included in the art historical circulation. According to established tradition, the opening will take place on the eve of the next Congress of the Union of Artists of Russia, which will be held in the exhibition space. Congress delegates will take part in the opening ceremony. This gives special significance to the exhibition.

The exhibition runs from February 9 to February 25, 2024 at three sites of the Union of Artists of Russia:
