Limited Edition: Barbie’s most famous women
Barbie doll is perhaps the most famous doll in the world. Last year, the beauty celebrated her 60th birthday. During their existence, the manufacturers of these dolls have not once experimented with their images: Barbie put on a hijab, served in the Navy and even became an astronaut, but the real one a rarity among these dolls are doubles of stars. At the Moscow Fair, for the first time in Moscow, the most famous women embodied in a barbie-style will be exhibited: the iconic Merlin Monroe in an equally iconic white dress, the heroine of Gone With the Wind - Scarlet O’Hara, singer Cher and the incomparable Frida Kahlo. As well as historical figures: Josephine - the wife of the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and the Austrian Empress Sisi. Ladies will be accompanied by first-tier cavaliers: Freddie Mercury in the guise of Ken, Joni Depp, Frank Sinatra and Elvis himself! Such a number of puppet celebrities has not yet been exhibited.
Teddy Bear on the PP
Teddy Bears are following the trends: the universal passion for sports and healthy lifestyle has not spared the dim-witted world. Bears are actively promoting moderate physical activity and a sporting lifestyle. At the Moscow Fair you will find an exposition of Teddy athletes who monitor their mimic tone. Bear on skis, bear-boxer, bear-gymnast - give sport to the masses. Moreover, our Bear has always been very close to sports, because it was he who became the main Olympic symbol of Russia of the XX century.
Celebrate the birthday of the Olympic Bear
Exactly forty years ago, the Soviet Union came up with the legend - both courageous and touching - the mascot of the XXII Olympic Games - the Olympic bear. An amiably smiling and confidently standing on its hind legs, the clubfoot sovereign of the Olympic rings also became the sovereign of millions of Soviet hearts. The organizers of the Moscow Fair approached the fortieth anniversary of the national hero with full responsibility, collecting in a separate project the original Olympic bears that appeared in 1980: of different sizes, different performance techniques, with different attributes - you cannot miss the birthday of such a hero, because we didn’t say goodbye to the affectionate a bear, courageously flying away into the Moscow sky in 1980, we told him “until we meet again”.
Toys of the USSR: toys of the Country of Soviets = toys of our childhood
Not only the Olympic bear are united: it was impossible to avoid toys from our common Soviet childhood! Therefore, Pinocchio of all kinds and stripes, Petrushka will be presented at the exhibition, without which it was difficult to imagine at least one matinee in school or preschool education, but special attention should be paid to the Soviet deer Bambi, an amazing toy that appeared in the union based on the hero of the capitalist cartoon.
The Moscow Fair exhibition is a puppet and bear festival, where everyone will find something of their own accord: someone will return to their Soviet childhood and see their children’s toys - Mishka Kosolapogo, Potapych or a huge bobblehead. Someone will discover Asian aesthetics and crazy-bears from Tokyo, someone will spend an hour studying miniatures and a masterly elaboration of details, one thing is for sure - nobody will be indifferent! Come from April 10 to 12 to Tishinka with the whole family! Teddy Bears and Dolls are waiting for you!!
