The increased attention to form, plastic, color in the works of Igor Shirshkov has ideological and intellectual awareness and serves to solve conceptual problems. The idea and form in his work are tightly connected with each other, therefore the term “new formalism”, proposed by art critic Alexander Borovsky, seems appropriate to characterize the artist’s work.

A somewhat different, no less interesting approach to creativity is demonstrated by the Serbian artist Ivan Milunovic. The artist continues and develops the traditions of abstract expressionism, striving for a splash of the unconscious, while using his emotional and sensory perception of the world.

Different author’s languages ​​and creative approaches presented at the exhibition are offered for consideration as possible interactions of structures: new connections appear and the opposites of author’s languages ​​come to light.
