From April 18 to April 22, 2018, the II International Youth Arts Festival “Russian Spring in St. Petersburg” will be held in St. Petersburg. Participants in this large-scale event will be young composers, musicians, including groups, figures of Russian traditional culture - ethnomusicologists, ethnographers, folklore ensembles, young writers and artists, as well as our compatriots from the CIS countries who will take part in the festival.
The main goals and objectives of the festival are to promote the work of young cultural figures of Russia and the CIS countries, continuing the best traditions of great Russian art; development of international cultural cooperation in the framework of the idea of the “Russian world”. Within the framework of the festival, the following events will be held in the ARTMUZA creative cluster:
Exhibition of paintings by young artists.
Yulia Kotsova , a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, was awarded the RAX gold medal for academic success. Alexandra Desnitskaya , since 2016, a candidate member of the Union of Artists of Russia. She participated in ten exhibitions of the Union of Artists. The main theme of creativity is landscape. Every year he works in the Crimea in the village of Koktebel, developing new motives and new compositional solutions. In her works, the artist depicts modern Koktebel, a city among hills and mountains, rapidly changing under the influence of time.
Ekaterina Manko , a young talented artist, since 2009 successfully participating in All-Russian and International creative exhibitions, as a painter and graphic artist. Perfectly combines active creative, pedagogical, social and charitable activities. The creativity of E. Manko fully meets the requirements of academic realism and, at the same time, the main component of the works is the versatility of color and picturesque texture.
