From December 16 to January 31 at the Electromuseum in Rostokino of the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association will host a personal exhibition of St. Petersburg artist Andrei Lublinsky, whose pixel figures of the peoples of the USSR adorned the main avenue of VDNH all summer.
At the exhibition “Anthropomorphic, Zoomorphic and Cars”, Andrei Lublinsky will show new and old works that were made long ago and made specially for this event. More than a hundred objects and prints - including the six-meter “red man”, which will come from the PERMM Museum of Modern Art in Perm, where several years ago it was made for a large retrospective exhibition of the artist, and so it stayed there - as well as works that, according to the artist, no one has ever seen and will be shown for the first time.
Lublin’s objects are minimalistically accurate. The method of its work is determined by the peculiarities of computer design and visually refers to the work of Kazimir Malevich, Alberto Giacometti, Anthony Gormley and simultaneously to 8-bit computer games, pixel and vector graphics, various types of digital art.
“I do things that are replicated and scaled depending on the situation. This is a principle, ”explains Andrei Lublinsky.
Lublinsky’s works are in museum and private collections, in the collection of the State Russian Museum, PERMM Museum of Modern Art, Erarta Museum of Modern Art and many others. In the summer of 2015, as part of the public art program of VDNH, the artist produced fifteen four-meter figures in national costumes of the former Soviet republics.
Andrei Lublinsky is an artist and designer, the author of many art projects - including Red People installed in Perm and several other cities of the world, and Friendship of Peoples, commissioned by VDNH. Lublinsky is the creator of the St. Petersburg art group Pprofessors in collaboration with the artist Maria Zaborovskaya. In recent years, one also works hard. And he says about himself: “I have a million projects - I’m devilishly prolific.”

December 16 at the Moscow Gallery of Sound Art, operating in the Electromuseum, the kinetic sound installation “Chime” will begin work. The author of the installation is Sergey Filatov, an artist in the field of fine art and sound, the author and developer of musical instruments and sound sculptures.
The work is a series of objects that drive DC motors that receive power from the controller in random number mode.
The installation is based on the idea of robotic approaches in modern music. A constantly changing sound picture is born from the material itself: the acoustic properties of aluminum alloys are revealed as a result of interaction with suspended elements of the composition.
The opening will take place on December 16 at 19:00. On the same day, the “Electromuseum” will host the opening of the exhibition of the artist and designer Andrei Lublinsky “Anthropomorphic, zoomorphic and typewriters”.
At the opening of the exposition Sergey Filatov will perform with a live acusmatic set “25 sq.m. Metronome"
