Exhibition "Vladislav Efimov. Translational movement" in the Eletromuseum in Rostokino Automatic translate
The exhibition of the famous artist, laureate of the All-Russian competition in the field of contemporary visual art "Innovation" Vladislav Efimov "Translational movement" is dedicated to the process of creating a work of art as a way of knowing the world around it. Completely abandoning the artistic principle in photography, the author uses it as an applied tool for contact with the space in which he finds himself. Photos serve as a material for creating a spatial multimedia installation. The stream of images, enclosed in geometric sculptures, is accompanied by songs, which are accompanied by the artist’s wife, his invisible companion and assistant, to the accompaniment of an urban or natural environment. It is the lines from the songs - “Not for Me,” “We Take a Walk on the Tram Rails”, “When the Spring Comes, I Don’t Know”, etc. - are not only the titles of each “sketch”, but also the semantic key to understanding the work.
The exhibition will be held at the Electromuseum in Rostokino - the new site of the artistic map of Moscow. Her focus is media art. The curators of the Electromuseum, well-known artists Alexey Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev, are sure that electronic and interactive art has great potential to appeal to the mass audience, but also occupies a leading position in the system of contemporary art. The plans of the Electromuseum include exhibitions of young and eminent media artists - both Russian and foreign, concerts, educational programs. The first permanent sound art gallery in Russia, as well as an exhibition of the works of the Electroboutique group, will work in its halls.
