Exhibition "Inspiration + algorithm" in the gallery-workshop "Skolkovo" Automatic translate
Is it possible to calculate inspiration or be inspired by the harmony of algorithmic relationships? - the participants of the art residence “Media Poetical Machines” of the Skolkovo Gallery-Studio responded with the art project “Inspiration + Algorithm”. At the exhibition, spectators will become witnesses and participants in the process of creating poetic works using text machines and poetic generators. The residence is located in the Mozhaisk district of Moscow. Resident artists in their works reflected their understanding of not only media poetry, but also of the surrounding space.

Elena Demidova, curator of the exhibition: “Mankind has finally drowned in computer technology. Almost any item has an "electronic mind." In gadgets, cars, household appliances, even children’s toys, there are processors and sensors. Interaction with them resembles communication with living beings who understand the human voice and body language, are able to navigate and move in space. "These electronic creatures see, hear, feel and act thanks to the programs embedded in them, sets of simple and complex algorithms."
Konstantin Grouss, curator of the exhibition, curator of the Skolkovo Gallery-Studio: “Algebra + Harmony = Poetry. AlgoRhythm + AlgoRhyme = Media poetry? These formulas are controversial and imperfect. The symbiosis of man and machine is already a reality. The algorithm is built into the human mind, and machines have the right to be considered poets. A man-driven poet machine generates visual, auditory and tactile images, revealing many of the meanings that are still hidden.
The book of poems has become voluminous and is now unlikely to fit in your pocket. To “read” it (hear, see, feel), you need to enter it. The exhibition “Inspiration + Algorithm” is a media poetical book, a journey inside of which includes all human sensors, recalling that a man of the 21st century is a man-machine ”
