On November 15, Gallery A3 of the Association “Exhibition Halls of Moscow” will open the exhibition of Ufa artists Airat Teregulov, Maxim Kholodilin, Rinat Minnebaev, Midat Mukhametov, Vasil Hannanov “UMPO”.

The project unites five Ufa artists who have gone through the path of successive formation within the framework of modernism and have long overcome the need for attachment to a point on the map, continuously expanding the artistic perspective and preserving the freedom of treatment with cultural memory.

The exhibition reveals the context and polyphony of images and meanings created at one time in one localization. Working in various techniques, individual sign systems, artists are in a single cultural stream.

The exhibition will feature paintings based on contrasts of deep color and sharp moving imagery; graphics that combine vitality and minimalist clarity; abstract landscapes of the Bashkir steppe; volumetric maps of the area; Monochrome counter-reliefs that truly convey the landscape and topography; as well as video work.
