The exhibition features portraits, landscapes and genre paintings. They are united by the theme of childhood - the world of first impressions, feelings and experiences, filled with a special concentration of moral experiences, when the fragility, insecurity of the external image is fused with the purity of the spiritual world, striving for the ideal.

“I tried to capture the happy moments of life, in the hope that they would disturb the hearts of the audience, maybe take them away to my childhood for a moment and bring joy…” (Love of Belykh).

The curators of the project are Anastasia Polumordvinova, curator of the Nagornaya gallery, Olga Tikhonova, member of the Ministry of Agriculture, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

About the artist: Lyubov Belykh was born in Kostroma in 1961 in a family of painters. From an early age she loved to draw. She studied at the Moscow secondary art school at the Moscow State Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov. Upon graduation, she entered the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin and in 1986. graduated from the monumental workshop of professor A.A. Mylnikova. From 1987-1990 she worked in the creative workshops of the Academy of Arts in Moscow. Now the artist’s paintings are in art museums in Moscow (Museum of Modern Art), St. Petersburg, Kostroma, Ryazan, Sergiev Posad, Maykop, Tula and in many private collections in Russia and abroad. In 2009, the Russian Academy of Arts awarded Lyubov Belykh the title of Honorary Academician in recognition of her contribution to Russian fine art.
