On April 25, 2015, at the Kolomenskoye estate, in the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve, an exhibition of sand sculptures entitled “Masterpieces of World Literature” dedicated to the ongoing “Year of Literature in Russia 2015” will open.
The project exposition will feature literary works by world famous writers such as: Garcia Marquez, Gogol, Bulgakov, Cervantes, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Pushkin, Hemingway, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Arthur Conan Doyle, Mark Twain, Johann Wolfgang Jules Verne, Homer, Alexander Dumas, Oscar Wilde, Hans Christian Andersen.
From April 17 to April 23, famous masters from Moscow, Zhukovsky, St. Petersburg, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Penza, Altai Territory, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnoyarsk, Sverdlovsk Region, Minsk, created sand sculptures.
The highlight of this exhibition is a grandiose 6-meter demonstration sculpture, which will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. Storyline of the famous literary work of M.A. Sholokhov "They fought for their homeland" will be depicted in the sculpture.
For small visitors, a large sandbox was created on the project site, where contests on sand sculpture for children will be held.
The project was created by the Art Bliss creative group, represented by Pavel Mylnikov and Bagrat Stepanyan, winners and prize-winners of international competitions and festivals in ice and sand sculpture.
The exhibition will be interesting to people of different ages.
