Sergei Alexandrovich Zhukov was born in August 1970 in the city of Belgorod-Dniester in the artist’s family. He graduated from art school under the guidance of his father, Alexander Petrovich Zhukov. In the 90s difficult years of perestroika, Sergey Zhukov rethought life values ​​and formed as a person. At the age of 33, Sergey Zhukov begins to paint his paintings, inspired by the poetry of the expanses of the Central Russian strip, the calm colors of the landscape. Landscape is a favorite genre to which the artist has devoted himself. After graduation, the artist lived and successfully worked in Odessa in the genres of landscape painting, marina, and portraiture. But the main theme of his work was the landscape of the Central Russian strip. The main teacher and mentor in the work of Sergey Zhukov throughout his life is his father, whose paintings the artist grew up.

Today Sergey Alexandrovich lives and works in the village of Wet Yards of the Khvastovichi District of the Kaluga Region. He is a regular participant in international exhibitions. His works are in private collections and galleries in Italy, Germany, the USA and Russia.
