In the spring of 2019, I was in the village - lockdown. Once, my grandson Martin and I went to the pond to launch a boat. On the way we found an old wooden panel from the gate. Rhombus shaped. She must have been there for quite some time. The paint was peeling off, and the board looked "older". A villager and a hoarder cannot miss such a find. This piece of wood lay idle with me for a short time, two days. I decided that it was time to start painting again, and paint on this particular panel. Now the search for suitable boards occupies me constantly.

Paints. I didn’t have a choice. They were already in the house. This set of tempera Leva Bruni gave my wife Masha more than ten years ago. The paints were in working order. Yes, and with a tree they are combined very well.

To enliven the pictures, I decided to additionally use colored and simple pencils. Drawing with pencils gives me great pleasure. I always watch with great interest the works of Nina Kotel or Alexander Livanov in this technique. They are, of course, great masters and, looking at their pictures, I manage to find some solutions and techniques for myself.
