The exhibition dedicated to the 90th birthday of S. V. Neustroev continues the cycle of stock displays of the Pushkin Museum of the RT, works of artists - anniversaries.

Sergei Vasilyevich Neustroev (06/25/1927 - 12/21/2010) was born in the village of Podgornoye, Kirov Region. In 1958 he graduated from the Kazan Art College. Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, lived and worked in Kazan.

S. V. Neustroev - representative of the Russian realistic school. At the exhibition in "Khazine" landscapes, portraits, genre paintings about people of work, still lifes will be presented. Among the models of his portraits and characters of genre painting, presented at the exhibition, a fireman, a young, full-of-life milkmaid, an old-bearded old man, thoughtfully smoking a pipe. However, in the first place, Sergey Vasilievich’s still lifes attract attention. With great love, various gifts of central Russia are written: baskets with mushrooms, nets full of fish, garden flowers. The thematic still lifes of the artist are interesting, in which the picturesque presentation of Tatar folk art objects, modern rural life becomes a means of figurative disclosure of folk life.

The works of S. V. Neustroev are stored in art galleries of Tatarstan and private collections, 20 works are in the funds of the Pushkin Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
