The Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts (Lenin St., 103) will open a large exhibition by Salvador Dali, “Surrealism is Me,” which will present works by the greatest genius of the 20th century.
Salvador Dali is a painter, graphic artist, sculptor and director who does not recognize any aesthetic restrictions. He stood at the origins of surrealism, a style that turned over the possibilities of human perception and gave the creators of the whole world a new tool for self-expression.
Residents of Kaluga will be able to attend a unique exhibition, revealing the work of Salvador Dali as a graphic genius. This is a real immersion in surrealism, a world of allusions and paradoxical forms. In the halls of the Museum will house about 80 works from such significant series as “The Twelve Tribes of Israel”, “The Search for the Grail” and “Biblia Sacra”.
The exhibition was organized jointly with the St. Petersburg Gallery of Modern Art PS Gallery from the collection of the famous Russian collector Pavel Anatolyevich Bashmakov.
The exhibition awaits residents and visitors of the city in the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts (103 Lenin St.) from December 15 to February 3. Inquiries by phone : 56-28-30
