MIG is a unique exhibition project that arose several years ago in one of the social networks. He brought together hundreds of professional and amateur artists from all over Russia and neighboring countries. Here, artists exchange experiences, share creative ideas, and presented their work to each other.
The participants of the creative association began to implement their main idea - “From virtual space to the exhibition venues of Russia” in 2015. Within the framework of the project, several exhibitions have already been held at various venues in Moscow and the Moscow Region, as well as workshops and outdoor plein airs. For many artists, the MIGA exhibition was a successful debut, and many, seeing the paintings as a regular visitor, decided to show their creativity to the general public and also joined the association. In St. Petersburg there are quite a few "MIGs" who have long dreamed of showing their work in their native land.
And for the first time the exhibition takes place in the cultural capital of Russia - in St. Petersburg. Especially for this, several months went through the selection of works by dozens of artists from different cities of Russia. The exhibition was led by members of the Union of Artists of the Moscow Region and the leaders of the MIG exhibition project. The main goal of this exhibition is to show viewers how rich our country is with talents. As a result, the exhibition will present paintings of different styles and genres, 21 artists from Moscow, St. Petersburg and the region, Neftegorsk, Perm, as well as artists from Bulgaria and Israel, a native of St. Petersburg
