From May 20 to May 31, 2015 in Kaluga there will be a regional exhibition-competition of works by amateur and masters of decorative and applied arts “Native, close, personal…”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Kaluga Region, the Kaluga Regional Center for Folk Art, and the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts.
The main objectives of the exhibition are: the preservation and development of folk art, traditional and contemporary decorative and applied arts, the identification and support of young talented authors.
The exhibition will bring together more than 200 people from districts and cities of the Kaluga region, more than 1000 exhibits of various creative directions. This painting, graphics, ceramics, embroidery, weaving, patchwork, woodcarving, beadwork, felting, working with leather, root, and more.
As part of the event, master classes and creative meetings will be held.
