The contest "I draw this world" is held among orphans aged 6 to 16 years, located in Moscow, as well as the Moscow, Tver, Kostroma and Voronezh regions. The organizers are the Clear Sky Charitable Foundation and the help2help community.
The competition is held in order to find talented pupils in orphanages and to support their undertakings, to attract children to art classes.
More than 200 children with special needs took part in the competition. Several qualifying rounds were held. Of the 166 received drawings, 43 were selected, among them the 20 best were identified and distributed in three categories: “I paint this world”, “Flowers”, “Spring”. In each nomination there will be five prizes. The finalists, as before, will be determined by a competent jury, which will include art critics, artists, members of the Russian Academy of Arts. The Clear Sky Foundation and the help2help community have additionally established an audience prize.
In the MVK RAX Gallery of Art of Zurab Tsereteli, guests are expected not only to announce the results of the jury’s voting, but a children’s concert concert in which famous artists (Ekaterina Volkova, Nikolai Trubach, Vladimir Presnyakov (senior), Maria Berseneva, Lyubasha, Alexander Yagya, Alexander Dobronravov, Victor Tretyakov, children from the Voice project and many others).
One of the main gifts to the winners of the Drawing Competition will be a master class conducted by a famous sculptor and painter, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli. This is a unique opportunity to personally communicate with the artist and see how his work is created.
