Dugarov Dashi-Nima Dugarovich (1933-2001), People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1982), First President of the All-Buryat Association for the Development of Culture; born April 27, 1933 in the Amitkhash ulus of the Mogoytuysky district of the Chita region; in 1962 he graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture, Graphics and Architecture.
