The theme of the 2018 exhibition - “Breakthrough” - reflects the state of the modern world. The exhibition will be presented on two floors of the Ekaterina Culture Foundation. On the ground floor, 60 works by participants of the international creative competition among students of higher educational institutions and art schools “Takeda. Art / Help. Breakthrough".

The exposition on the second floor of the Foundation will be opened by Sergey Mironenko’s canvas “New” (1990), which throws the bridge from “Moscow romantic conceptualism” to the era of new technologies. The most ambitious work at the exhibition will be the new installation of Olga and Oleg Tatarintsev, dedicated to the Russian geneticist Vladimir Efroimson, the first to describe the altruism gene. Most of the work will be created by contemporary artists specifically for the exhibition.
