The exhibition convincingly demonstrates strength of character, energy, daring searches and originality of the artist’s artistic vision, which is subject to all kinds, genres and techniques of fine art. Monumental sculptural compositions made by Z.K. Tsereteli adorn the streets, squares, state and public buildings of many countries of the world.

The exhibition features a portrait gallery. Among the paintings - portraits of friends and relatives, numerous friends of the artist. This is eloquently evidenced by the names of the works themselves - “My Most Favorite”, as well as works from the series “To My Friends”. A number of works are dedicated to the memory of world famous, deeply revered artists, whose work Z. Tsereteli always pays tribute to. These are Michelangelo, M. Chagall, P. Picasso, A. Modigliani, N. Pirosmani. Their images are captured both on paintings and in sculptural compositions - “Pirosmani and Russo” and “My Favorite Artists”. One of the master’s most beloved characters is the world-famous actor Charlie Chaplin, whose image for the artist is a source of constant inspiration throughout his creative career. The exposition includes paintings from the Charlie Chaplin series.

Colorful still lifes and picturesque compositions from the series “I was born a gardener” are full of expression, filled with the joy of life, testifying to the artist’s continued interest in the world. The canvases depicting the master’s youthful memories of old Tiflis, street festivals, traveling musicians, circus performances, bring a vivid flavor to the atmosphere of the exhibition, which also reflected the impressions of being in foreign countries, in particular, in Spain and France.

The extensive work of the master, made in the unique author’s technique of color and black-and-white silk-screen printing, is represented by numerous works from the series “Album Sheets”. The exposition also included easel sculptural compositions from the series “Citizens”.
