Z. Tsereteli is an artist of the broadest creative range, whose works have become an integral part of Russian art culture, his monumental works have been installed in many countries of the world, they adorn the squares and squares of Moscow, other cities of Russia, the CIS countries and far abroad, including the USA, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, Great Britain, Brazil, Uruguay, etc.

The artist created many hundreds of paintings, graphic sheets, colorful stained-glass windows, sculptural compositions, reliefs, enamels, marked by a monumental vision of the world.

Z. K. Tsereteli is not only a monumentalist who creates works of a grandiose scale, he is passionately engaged in painting, which for him is a creative laboratory, the internal content of life. The master is constantly experimenting in his canvases, which, regardless of the search, always bear the trace of the author’s powerful creative and human personality. The main thing in the author’s pictorial work is the expression of an optimistic outlook on life, a bright temperament, a desire to express his own worldview in colors. Color turns into the main means of transmitting space, rhythm, form.

The exposition included about 50 works of the artist - more than 30 paintings, as well as 10 reliefs. Among the paintings are portraits of relatives, friends and acquaintances, genre compositions, folklore scenes from the life of old Tbilisi, still lifes, works from the series “I was born a gardener”, “Across Switzerland”, etc. These unique works are marked by the power of talent, boundless imagination and with the artist’s imagination, they demonstrate with their inherent major intonation the master’s continued interest in the world around him.

It is noteworthy that exactly thirteen years ago, in the framework of events dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the founding of the city, the monument to the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga, the first Christian in the Russian princely family, was held in grateful memory of which Russia and her homeland - Pskov land. Olga is depicted standing, with a shield and a sword. The author of the sculptural composition Z. K. Tsereteli donated it to the city of Pskov in connection with its anniversary.
