V. Nechaeva was born in 1971. In 1999 she graduated from Moscow State Textile University. A.N. Kosygina (now - Moscow State University of Design and Technology) by profession - artist-stylist. Then she began teaching at this educational institution as an assistant professor at the Department of Costume and Fashion.

In 1999, V. Nechaeva headed the design bureau and established a company for the production of women’s clothing and uniforms. In her creative activity, she turns to different types and genres of fine art, is a participant and laureate of a number of international and Russian competitions, shows on costumes, paintings and designer dolls.

The exhibition presents about 50 works created by the author in recent years: portraits, genre compositions, urban and rural landscapes, still lifes, etc., performed by a palette knife in a free manner. On the artist’s canvases are portraits of relatives and friends, landscapes near Moscow, as well as portraits of representatives of one of the Ethiopian tribes, landscapes depicting narrow Florentine streets, ponds of London Hyde Park, etc., created based on the results of foreign trips. The intense form and contrasting color give the artist’s works additional emotional coloring.

The artist organizes and conducts various contests, biennials, student shows of clothing models, and also takes an active part in foreign exhibitions.

In 2013, V. Nechaeva graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education under the program "Psychology", is a full member of the Professional Psychotherapeutic League. In the same year she was awarded the title of Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts in the field of design.

V. Nechaeva is the author of more than 30 portrait dolls in private collections in several foreign countries.
