According to Mlada Konstantinovna, she and her family specially settled in the village of Borisoglebsk, far from the bustle of the capital, where they "found their spiritual homeland." Ancient monuments of Russian history, the Borisoglebsky monastery, churches, their harmony with picturesque nature and a leisurely lifestyle that preserves the cultural traditions of the Russian province, had a great influence on the artist and were a source of constant creative inspiration for her. M.K. Finogenova was born in 1941 in Moscow. She grew up in an artistic family and from childhood was surrounded by the atmosphere of art, as the closest friends of her parents were: A. A. Plastov, D. K. Mochalsky, G. G. Nissky. Received an academic art education. First she studied at the famous Moscow Secondary Art School, then graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. V.I.Surikova, where the head of her workshop was People’s Artist of the USSR, Professor E.A.Kibrik. Since 1969 she is a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, in 2010 she was awarded the Shuvalov medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, in 2015 - a diploma and the Gold Medal of the Union of Artists of Russia named after I. VI Surikov "for his outstanding contribution to the fine arts of Russia. The works of M.K. Finogenova are kept in museums, galleries,private collections in Russia and abroad.
