The work of sculptor Elena Paschina is one of the most worthy pages in Russian fine art. A bright representative of a generation of artists from the turn of the twentieth to the twenty-first centuries, she boldly declared herself in both monumental and easel art. E.V. Paschina gratefully recalls studying at the Abramtsevo School of Industrial Art, which gave her an awareness of her own path in art. After passing a serious academic school in one of the best educational institutions in Russia - the Institute. I.E. Repin in St. Petersburg, where her teachers were such masters as M. Anikushin, V. Pinchuk, A. Divin and other teachers, she remained faithful to the traditions of this school. At the same time, bold innovative ideas are not alien to her. Today’s creative condition of Elena Paschina is professionalism, immersion in the history of world culture, interest in contemporary art and her own life position.
Elena Paschina is a universal master working in different genres, perfectly mastering all sculptural materials and especially fond of bronze, fireclay and stone.

In both monumental and easel art, Elena’s main theme is man, his philosophical portrait, and his place in life.
The interest in Russian history, events and images of outstanding historical figures does not leave the sculptor throughout his entire creative career. These are compositions for the millennium of Yaroslavl and Rostov the Great - portraits of Yaroslav the Wise, Prince Vasilko, Maria Chernigovskaya; dynamic battle scenes for the reliefs of the historical battle on the River Cit, portraits of military leaders associated with the Yaroslavl region, as well as portraits of prominent people who left their mark on the history of Yaroslavl and Russia.
Today, Elena Paschina is one of the leading monumentalists. In various authorial decisions, she created about twenty monumental works, both in Russia and abroad. These are monuments to the famous tenor L. Sobinov (Yaroslavl); Admiral F. Ushakov (Rybinsk); the guard of the Romanovskaya outpost (Yaroslavl); memorial to the Chernobyl tragedy "Cranes" (Yaroslavl); abstract groups "Buffonade" and "Puppeteer", decorating the facade of the Yaroslavl Youth Theater; portraits of military leaders on the alley of Battle Glory (Yaroslavl), Swifts - the dedication of the hockey team Lokomotiv (Yaroslavl) tragically killed in a plane crash; mortgage cross of the Assumption Cathedral (Yaroslavl); recently opened monument to N.
