With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea on October 10, 2016 at 14.00, the opening of the art exhibition of works by the creative workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts “From Word to Image” will take place.

The exhibition project "From Word to Image" was formed from a number of previous exhibitions with the participation of academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts and their students - trainee artists of creative workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts in Moscow.

The thematic basis of the exposition is composed of graphics illustrating the works of Russian and foreign literature, made by trainee artists of the PAX creative workshop under the guidance of Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Aleksey Dementievich Shmarinov, as well as sculptural works made by trainees of the creative sculpture workshop under the direction of academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Alexander Tsigal.

The curator of the exhibition, Alexander Troshin, is the assistant to the head of the creative workshop of graphics, was awarded the medal "For Services to the Academy", the gold and silver medals of the Russian Academy of Arts.

The project “From Word to Image” is a real celebration of graphics and sculpture. Demonstrating the works of a whole constellation of talented artists, he confirms the enduring importance of the school and the enormous role of the development of the creative personality of the authors in the formation of the contemporary artist and art in general.
