Kazan has always been distinguished by an active and dynamic life in the sphere of culture and art. In continuation of the joint project of the Pushkin Museum of the RT and the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) “Invitation to dinner. Cookbook of the Russian Museum” Kazan artists offer the exhibition "Continuation of the banquet." The complex and rich genre of still life reveals the real world. Invisible and ordinary in life, on canvas he reveals the secrets of the era and man. Acquainted with the Russian feast traditions of the XVIII - XIX centuries, the revolutionary changes of the Soviet era, the public was invited to plunge into the rapidly changing modernity. At the New Year’s exhibition, you can again meet with the work of the long-established still-life master Yevgeny Zuev, as well as look at the development of traditions, creative searches, unexpected solutions that open up well-known authors from a new perspective in the works of A. Inshakov, A. Timergalina, A. Deryabin, V. Vybornova, O. Kulpina, Z. Batraeva, E. Baimyashkina, A. Novikova. Nearby are the works of young creators, both opening their way in art, and already striving to form their own style: still lifes and compositions by A. Tsybisov, A. Zamilova, A. Sannikova, A. Averyanov, D. Manvelyan, E. Savchenko.

The exhibition project combines the works of artists from Kazan and several cities of Tatarstan, representatives of various art associations and unions, demonstrating the diversity of the artistic life of the region and the main development trends in a modern still life.

The exhibition runs until the end of January.
