On April 13, 2021 at 17.00 in the House of Artists, the exhibition "Plein Air - 2020" begins work, combining sketches and sketches of artists-members of the Union of Artists, performed exclusively from nature and born in direct interaction with nature.
Plein air (or painting created in nature) is a serious school for an artist of any age. Young artists often see in the open air as an opportunity to find or develop their own unique style, comprehend the laws of harmony. However, for the older generation of artists, the plein air is not only "hand training" - it is an opportunity to "peep" the topic, the development of which will pass into subsequent, more solid canvases. Nature is inexhaustible in its perfection, and therefore shows artists every time a new lesson in beauty.
The geography of the reporting plein air exhibition for 2020 is very specific: the beginning of the year was marked by the introduction of a self-isolation regime, subsequently we experienced two waves of coronavirus infection, as well as all subsequent restrictions and relaxation. All this could not but affect the subject matter and specifics of the open air works in 2020. The artists did not give up and continued to work - they wrote not only in their workshops, from the windows, but also "plein air", for example, on the balconies (G. Baimukhanov, E. Bobrova, N. Molodtsov, E. Sveshnikova), in their country garden plots (E. Dorokhov). Thus, Omsk (G. Baimukhanov, L. Zaremba, S. Kapralov, S. Kostikova, S. Prokhorov) and the protected areas of the Omsk region (E. Skripnikova) are flourishing in a new way in the sketches of artists. The second half of the year, however, nevertheless presented the artists with a number of creative trips. These are both independent plein air trips to Krasnodar Territory (V. Timofeev) and Crimea (T. Alferova), and organized plein airs (XXIII Traditional Academic Sevastopol plein air (E. Bobrova), Paints of Siberia-2020 on Lake Baikal, Fr. Olkhon (S. Kapralov)). Olga Kadikova, who was still registered with the ORO VTOO SXR, but who replaced her permanent residence in the pandemic year, sent a series of Italian life sketches specially for participation in the exhibition.
At the exhibition, the viewer can see the artist’s direct, reverent look at the miracle of nature, and will also have the opportunity to plunge into the subtle world of harmony and light.
The organizer of the exhibition is E. Bobrova.
