The Center for Creative Industries "Factory" and EK ArtBuro present the exhibition of the artist Dmitry Lyashenko "Song of Little Birds in the Garden of Lingering Storms", which will open on December 8 at 19:00. The project was implemented as part of the Factory Workshop contest. Session IV ”and is included in the Parallel Program of the VII Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art.
The project “Song of Little Birds in the Garden of Lingering Storms” is dedicated to people who have ever found themselves in the center of conflict. The basis of the exposition is a pictorial work written under the impression of the news coming from the Middle East: about wars, armed conflicts and endless casualties. The heroes of this news are soldiers and civilians who seem to live under the constant shelling and bombing, in constant fear and hatred. However, despite the horror being experienced, it is common for people to hope that the world will ever change for the better. The picture shows an inscription in Arabic: "I love you." An important part of the exhibition is the work of the Afghan poetess Nadia Anjuman “Need to try”, which tells of a bird hoping to find a place where she will be safe. The tragic fate of Nadia and the general lyrical mood of the poem creates a special dramatic tension. Like this bird, people patiently wait and live in hope for a peaceful future and a peaceful home.
