"Primordial Russia" expands the boundaries and will be presented in the Gallery of Classical Photos
Following the Central House of Artists on Krymsky Val, the exhibition “Primordial Russia” will be presented by the Gallery of Classical Photography. The exposition of pictures of the reserved nature will open for visitors this coming Thursday.
The all-Russian festival of nature "Primordial Russia" takes place at several venues at once. This year, as in the past, selected photographs will be presented in the Moscow Gallery of Classical Photography. The exposition will open its doors on January 26 and will work for a month.
Passing through the exhibition halls of the gallery, guests will be able to “visit” the most beautiful and inaccessible places of our country from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, admire amazing landscapes and observe the life of animals. Unique photographs will help you to visit places where a person’s foot rarely steps, to meet face-to-face with the rarest inhabitants of the animal world, which are endangered.
Most of the pictures were taken in reserves and national parks, where Red Book animals and birds live. Removing them is not so simple: sometimes for the sake of a good perspective, you need to live in a tent for weeks, while remaining alone with wildlife.
The exposition contains the work of more than thirty authors, including well-known Russian naturalist photographers. It is worth noting that the presented photographs are real large format photographs that create the effect of presence and fascinate with their beauty and skill of photographers.
In total, over 60 works can be seen at the exhibition.
Unique pictures of the Far Eastern leopard were presented by Valery Maleev, who made them during filming in the Kedrovaya Pad reserve. A rather large place in the exposition is occupied by a series of photographs dedicated to the wildlife of Kamchatka and its inhabitants, shot by a "bear" photographer Sergey Gorshkov. In addition, at the exhibition you can see the works of the legendary photographer, an outstanding landscape painter, whose photographs and albums are known all over the world - Vadim Evgenievich Gippenreiter, who would have turned 100 in 2017.
In addition to exploring the best wildlife photography, visitors will also enjoy workshops, lectures, meetings with famous travelers and naturalistic photographers. Information about events is not only published in the "Events" section of the website www.classicgallery.ru, but is also announced in electronic mailings.
Unique pictures will delight Muscovites and guests of the capital until March 12. Given that for many people visiting this exhibition has become a real family tradition, admission to it will be free for children under 12 years of age, as well as for disabled people and veterans of the Great Patriotic War. For students and seniors, a discount on entrance tickets is provided, for the rest, admission to the exhibition will cost 300 rubles.
