From 18 June to 21 July 2015, the Mokhovaya-18 Gallery of Contemporary Art will present a collective exhibition, The Palette of Summer.
The cultural life of the Northern capital in the summer is especially rich, but this exhibition is attractive with a wide range of works by contemporary authors presented to the audience. The purpose of the exhibition is to show the works of artists whose creative searches develop according to dissimilar scenarios. However, all these works unite the St. Petersburg artistic traditions, which have always been interesting both for the residents of the city and for the guests of St. Petersburg.
In the Mokhovaya-18 Gallery, visitors can see magnificent watercolors by Elena Bazanova. Her lyrical still lifes combine the delicate fragility of flowers and leaves, the transparency of dragonfly wings, and the glossy gloss of porcelain. The exhibition presents the magical paintings of Sergei Kiselyov. Mystical looks St. Petersburg in the interpretation of Andrei Romasyukov. Expressive, vibrant canvases by Sergey Inkatov will also be presented - a series inspired by vivid impressions of Western Europe with its sea breezes and the severity of medieval architecture in a modern pictorial interpretation. The walls of the gallery will be adorned with works by well-known and established artists, as well as works by young authors, from pencil sketches to monumental canvas.
The dominant feature of the exposition will be works of decorative and applied art - floral porcelain compositions by Yevgeny Andreev, "Painting of Stone" by Nikolay Ageev and graceful miniatures of the jeweler-stone-cutter Felix Ibragimov (exhibited earlier in the Konstantinovsky Palace). The exposition will consist of about 50 works of painting, graphics and arts and crafts. Many genres and stories on canvases, allowing you to see at one exhibition the development of various trends in contemporary art.
The exhibition can be visited daily from 11.30 to 19.30, a day off - Sunday at the address: st. Mokhovaya, d.18
