The artist Irina Bogomolova is engaged in artistic painting of fabrics, works in the technique of hot and cold batik.

The exhibition "Reflections" will feature paintings from different years of creation, mainly new works made literally over the past year. There will also be several works already known to the audience: the Africa series exhibited in the international exhibition Women in the Art of the Modern World (Central House of Artists, 2013) and the composition Above the Clouds shown in the Buk-Art-Botany special project within the framework of the 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (Darwin Museum, 2013) and the Second Moscow Spring Festival "Women in the Art of the Modern World" (Gallery "On Kashirka", 2014).

The exhibition is called “Reflections”, because each of the presented paintings is a reflection of my inner world. And at the same time, each viewer sees something different in his paintings, feels personal associations and experiences his own emotions - and these are also “reflections” of the inner world of every person, person, viewer.

Batik attracts me primarily with an unpredictable result, as well as the ability to use bright pure colors. The result for me is always unexpected. It’s difficult to predict what kind of picture will be in the end, and it’s always intriguing and fascinating to me.

In 2009 she graduated from the art and graphic department of Kostroma State University. ON. Nekrasov.

Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, Gender Section, Design Section.

Member of the Regional Public Organization Creative Union of Women Artists "IRIDA"

Since 2010, participates in exhibitions, festivals, charity projects in Moscow, Kostroma, London.

Participant of the Buk-Art-Botany special project as part of the 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
