In the Artist’s House (M. Gorky St., 27), a personal exhibition of the artist-restorer of the Perm Art Gallery, Galina Khomenko, opened. The exhibition presents works from the collections of the gallery and the artist’s workshop. These are pastels and watercolors, made in the 1990 - 2010s on the impressions of creative trips to Russia and foreign countries.
Galina Khomenko created dozens of cycles of watercolors and pastels in the Vishersky reserve, Cherdynsky land, old Perm cities and settlements. Creative travel routes encompassed vast spaces: from Perm to Australia. The severe and majestic Perm Territory and beautiful Italy, exotic Sri Lanka and romantic Austria, sun-soaked Turkey and distant Australia.
Galina Khomenko is a colorist painter who sharply feels color, the quality of its shades, the magical, attractive and subconscious meaning of combinations. The world of colors, light, rhythms in the works of Galina Khomenko is special. This is a world of beauty, harmony, natural elements.
The exhibition "One Moment" will work in the Artist’s House (M. Gorky St., 27) with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Perm Territory from November 14 to December 2, 2018.

Galina Khomenko - restorer, painter, fabric artist, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia. She graduated from the Higher School of Industrial Art (formerly Stroganovskoe, Moscow). Member of republican, regional, regional, city art exhibitions. Member of the open-air group "Seven - I" and all exhibitions organized by the group. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held at the Perm Art Gallery, the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists, and local history museums of the Perm Territory.
Since 1970, he has been working as a restoration artist at the Perm State Art Gallery. Galina Petrovna is a qualified restorer of old painting and arts and crafts. He is the author of numerous watercolor series devoted to the Urals, Prikamye, as well as to far abroad countries such as Greece, Italy, and others. G. Khomenko’s works are in the Perm State Art Gallery (34 works), museums of the Perm Territory, and private collections in Russia and abroad.
