Exhibitors will try to answer the questions: what is the meaning of contemporary art and what the younger generation of artists is putting into it. For the exhibition, curators of the Electromuseum Alexey Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev selected the most relevant works of students and graduates of the School named after Rodchenko - the main Russian school of media art. Among the participants: the famous media artist Mikhail Maximov, prize winner of the Kandinsky Prize 2014 Albert Soldatov and winner of World Press Photo 2014 Nikita Shokhov.
“The exhibition“ New codes of art ”raises topical issues of modern culture and society: changing the role of the artist and art, Internet addiction, the emergence of a new aesthetic, the influence of the media on the minds of people; and answers them with a modern, technologically advanced language. ”
