Kumysnikova Naila Halitovna - artist of the theater and arts and crafts, people’s artist and honored artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, laureate of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan named after B. Urmanche, member of the VTOO "Union of Russian Artists" in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Born April 4, 1958 in Kazan. She graduated from the Kazan Art College (scenography teacher Kanafiya Nafikov), the theater and decoration department of the painting department of the Moscow Art Institute. V.I. Surikova (workshop of M.M. Kurilko-Ryumin). She taught at the Kazan Art College. Among her students are such well-known theater artists, painters, applied artists, designers as M. and O. Pokalevs, E. Yermolina, D. and L. Zalyaletdinovs (Moscow), A. Ismagilova, L. and S. Ryabinin, D. Navrozova and others.
Naila Kumysnikova grew up in a theatrical environment. Papa Naili - Halit Kumysnikov, a famous theater critic, art critic, a major researcher of the Tatar theater. Mom - Asiya Khayrullina - Honored Artist of Tatarstan, who worked on the stage of the Kamalov Theater.
Naila Halitovna Kumysnikova is a talented theater artist with her creative concept and vision of the stage. She created the sets and costumes for performances at the Tatar Academic Theater. G. Kamala, in the Almetyevsk Tatar Drama Theater, in the Kazan experimental theater “Crew”, in the Tatar Youth Theater, in the Tatar Youth Theater “Adym”, in the Bugulma Russian Drama Theater and others.
Today N. Kumysnikova is also one of the leading professional artists in the field of leather mosaic, her works have been highly praised by specialists, successfully exhibited at domestic and international exhibitions, are distinguished by originality and sophistication of form, high level of performance. The professional pride of N. Kumysnikova is the form of a large seam proposed by her, which is now successfully used by many artists. She has restored ancient technologies for the manufacture of seamless patterned boots, as well as the so-called “exhaust” men’s ichigas. In color compositions N. Kumysnikova refers to the traditions of leather mosaic of its heyday: the end of the 18th - the middle of the 19th centuries, uses monochrome color combinations, bringing them closer to the shades of plant dyes used in antiquity. A separate independent direction in the work of N. Kumysnikova is wall panels used in the interior.
At the exhibition opening on April 6 in "Khazine" an exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the artist, decorative and applied art products made in the technique of leather mosaics will be presented: interior panels, ichigi, pillows; the original copy of the Tatar service "Golden Bulgar", made according to the sketches of Naili Kumysnikova together with the Imperial Porcelain Factory of St. Petersburg by order of the Marjani Foundation. For the first time, the panels “Chatting Birds”, “Star of the Bulgar”, “Star of the East” and the service “Golden Domes”, executed jointly by the IPF for the opening of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, will be exhibited.
The works of Naili Kumysnikova are in the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan National Cultural Center, the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve, the Mardzhani Foundation in Moscow and other collections.
The exhibition runs until May 6, 2018.
