For the first time in Kaluga there will be an exhibition of works created by the famous Crimean chocolatier Nikolai Popov (Nikolya).
The author of the exhibition is the famous Crimean art confectioner Nikolai Popov. Nikolai Popov in a family of hereditary culinary specialists. However, according to him, the dream of becoming a famous chocolatier did not appear immediately. Behind the master of the school, college and university, specializing in "engineer-technologist of public catering." Having become a famous chef, gradually in his work Nikolai switched to the production of cakes. And then interest and a desire to work with chocolate aroused. He learned the subtleties of working with chocolate at the Polish and French chocolate academies, having received the specialty "chocolatier." For 15 years, Nikolai improved his skills and realized a long-held dream - he created a chocolate museum in his native Simferopol. More than 150,000 people from different cities of Europe and the CIS have already met with the exhibition project "Nikolya Chocolate Museum".
The Chocolate Museum will present the author’s composition of a number of top-quality chocolate products the size of a man’s height, chocolate compositions, paintings painted with chocolate on chocolate framed in chocolate baguettes.
In the halls of the museum there will be more than a hundred chocolate works led by the two-meter Eiffel Tower. All products presented at the exhibition are made of various types of chocolate, marzipan, sugar dragees and food gilding.
Everyone can enjoy real chocolate masterpieces made by the famous author from July 11 to August 2, 2015 in the exhibition hall of the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts.
The museum is open from 10.00 to 18.00, on Thursday from 11.00 to 19.00.
