Exhibition of Moscow Theater Artists RESULTS OF SEASON No. 51

April 24 at 18.00 in the halls of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts of the Art Gallery Zurab Tsereteli (Moscow, Prechistenka, 19) an exhibition of Moscow theater artists opens. RESULTS OF SEASON No. 51.

The exhibition will be held from April 24 to May 24, 2015.

Held for the first time in 1964 at the initiative of famous artists Vadim Ryndin, Boris Knoblok, Alexander Lushin and art critic Militsa Pozharskaya, who came up with this for the young, “… to organically enter the profession and feel the Moscow circle as a guild community. To see their work alongside the works of Simon Virsaladze, Boris Volkov, Yuri Pimenov, Alexander Tyshler, Nisson Shifrin, and other classics, we better understand them and ourselves ”(A.Mikhailova), SEASON RESULTS successfully passed the half-century mark and rhythmically began the counting of the sixth decade. RESULTS are by no means “savory” their venerable age; their modernity is set by the very idea of presenting the creative works of the past theater season, where in a single exhibition space you can see works by both stage masters and novice authors. Everything is authentic and unvarnished here: what is the season - such is the exhibition. Artists fearlessly explore the new hall space of the Russian Academy of Arts. Layout designs and sketches, installations and artifacts, photographs and theater costumes will once again surprise you with a variety of theatrical ideas and forms.

So, Boris Messerer (School of Wives, New Opera Theater), Sergey Barkhin (LIR King, Hermitage Theater, Masquerade, Maly Theater), Stanislav Benediktov (Nuremberg) will show their models and sketches for the performances of the last theater season., RAMT), Vladimir Arefyev (“Love for Three Oranges”, Riga Opera and Ballet Theater, “Cinderella”, Sovremennik Theater), Boris Blank (“Roman History”, Mossovet Theater), Larisa Lomakina (“Karamazovs”, Moscow Art Theater), Yuri Harikov (“Blue Bird”, Electrotheatre), Nikolai Simonov (“19.14”, Moscow Art Theater), Natalya Voinova (“Fruits of Enlightenment”, M Theater Yakovsky), Viktor Nikonenko (“Pannochka”, Tomsk Puppet Theater), Maxim Obrezkov (“War”, Chekhov Festival together with the Edinburgh Festival), Olga Kulagina (“The Peak Jack”, Drama Theater, Tula), Alexey Tregubov (“Louisiana”, Moscow Art Theater), etc.

The annals of the exhibition, recorded in photo and video materials, formed entire volumes of the Moscow "scenographic saga", which is worthy of thorough research and study. We are sure that many more beautiful pages will be written into these “volumes”.
