The main idea of the exhibition is its name - “Experiment”. It was as an experiment that a talented artist - a student of the St. Petersburg Art and Industry Academy named after A.L. Stieglitz, trying to combine in his work various materials and methods of their application, which, at first glance, are not compatible. In the course of the work, works that are unusual in form, texture and content are obtained that will not leave anyone indifferent. When the idea and the method of its execution are combined, unique works are born.

The exhibition will feature work in three areas: painting, forging and graphics. The installation will consist of an Nth number of works, each of which the artist gives not only an unusual plot, but also a special energy. Each work carries a certain meaning.

Matvey’s works are an unusually deep world in which there are no borders and frames. Freedom of thinking and freedom of action - this is the approach of the artist.
