From April 25 to June 13, the EXPOSED art center presents an exhibition and sale of works by Russian avant-garde artist Maxim Isachenko.
EXPOSED is an artistic and cultural concept in the center of Moscow, which contains unusual art objects: paintings, photographs, sculptures - from around the world. Until recently, EXPOSED exhibited more work by foreign authors. However, this year, the art center planned to introduce collectors and ordinary visitors to the most prominent representatives of the new wave of Russian art. The first of them is Maxim Isachenko.
Maxim Isachenko is a multifaceted avant-garde artist who began his career in 1997. Despite his youth, he took part in group and personal exhibitions in Smolensk, Omsk, Kaliningrad, Berlin, Hagen, Miami, Baltimore, New York. Maxim’s work is at the intersection of modernism, experimental painting, metaphysical painting and minimalism. The result is a colorful, vibrant and eclectic set of paintings in which intrigue and delight are equally present.
The exhibition will feature more than 30 works by the artist. All exhibited works can be purchased.
Address: st. Shabolovka, 31G
An unusual concert will be held on June 11 at 20:00 as part of the official closing of the SUBLIMACY exhibition: three talented musicians, representatives of different schools, will unite on this platform on this day to make an incredible musical extravaganza against the background of the artist’s paintings - an unexpected mixture of styles and genres and directions. The special guest of the event is designer Alina Assi.
Free admission. Registration required!
“We have all been friends for a long time,” says Maxim Isachenko, “and it was always interesting for me to try to do something together with the guys, to unite, each in his own genre, to combine art and music on one platform. I am sure that this concert will sound a worthy final chord of my exhibition. ”
Mikhail Talanov is a classical violinist and sound producer (groups: JuneJuly, Multiverse, Elegato, The Art Maniacs). “I want to combine the unknown with the majority and convey to people that the violin, like all music, is much cooler than it sounds.”
Ekaterina Volkomurova - cello. The girl is sincerely loving music, which is closely within the framework of any educational institution. Opponent of order and lazy.
Timur Gandayev - guitar (bands: Jaunt, JuneJuly, The Art Maniacs, Laps around the sun). A knight of a sad image, while a wild, crazy whirlwind of fantasy, ideas and silly jokes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
On May 28, the EXPOSED art center hosted a free acoustic concert by Nikita Presnyakov and his group MULTIVERSE in support of Maxim Isachenko’s “SUBLIMACY” exhibition.
The versatility and breadth of life and creative views of Maxim Isachenko and Nikita Presnyakov served as the basis for the idea of holding a concert of the MULTIVERSE group in support of the “SUBLIMATION” exhibition.
“Nikita Presnyakov is my good friend,” says Maxim Isachenko, “and we decided to unite, each in its own genre, to combine art and music on one platform. Initially, it was planned to hold a “meeting with the artist” as part of the exhibition. Instead of a simple lecture or a master class, we wanted to do something unusual. And we decided that the concert as a kind of art support of the exhibition will be for our guests an excellent pastime and will serve as a good opportunity to talk about paintings! ”
The concert was held on the second floor of the EXPOSED art center among the exhibition of works by Maxim Isachenko. To the accompaniment of acoustic guitar, violin and cello 9 original compositions were performed. Their mutual friends came to support the creative experiment of the artist and singer, including actress Catherine Assy and singer Chadon.
