Lyudmila Petrovna was born on September 16, 1940 in Transbaikalia, in the Chita region. Her father died during the Great Patriotic War, her mother was left with three children. Lyudmila Petrovna is a lyrical artist, works in a realistic manner, the leading place in her work is landscape and still life. In landscapes, she embodies the views of Central Russian nature, landscapes of Kaluga and the Kaluga Territory, Crimea, the Urals, Transbaikalia.

Of all the diversity of the genre of still life, Lyudmila Petrovna prefers floral, as she herself is very fond of flowers, and is engaged in floriculture. Lyudmila Petrovna is a master of flower still life. Love for flowers manifests itself even in the artist’s landscapes: depicting summer nature or the views of the Crimea, she necessarily includes flowering trees, bushes or wildflowers in them.
