The exposition presents about 100 works by L.I.Belozerova, made in the pastel technique, completely mesmerizing and immersing the viewer in the work of the famous Omsk pastelist, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2010.
Graduate of the graphic arts faculty of OGPI named after A.M. Gorky, student of A.I. Galkovsky, People’s Artist of Russia - A.N. Liberov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation - A.A. Shakenova, Lyudmila Ivanovna devoted her life to teaching, successfully combining it with creativity for more than 40 years…
In her words, she feels very comfortable in the profession and has never doubted the correctness of the chosen path. The activity of a teacher-artist gave her a wonderful opportunity to work a lot in the open air. Since 2004, Lyudmila Ivanovna has not missed a single open air available to her. She was lucky to work in the south of our country (Astrakhan, Abkhazia), in Central Russia, in the Urals, Altai in Western and Eastern Siberia. But most often in the Omsk region, in its northern and central parts, that is, in those places where there is more "painting".
Thanks to natural observation, Lyudmila Belozerova came to understand the artistic space as a formally organized picture, where the leading is color, color plane, aesthetic expressiveness, which is subordinated to the main thing - the transfer of the artist’s perception and experience of the surrounding world.
Lyudmila Ivanovna’s creativity clearly demonstrates the movement from the material to the spiritual. From natural observations in early works, to compositions of a formal level, in which the "trace" of living communication with nature and personal emotional preferences are preserved.
“If there were no plein airs in my life, then there would be no me as an artist” - L. I. Belozerova.
The personal exhibition of Lyudmila Ivanovna Belozerova in 2021 demonstrates a mature artist who has access not only to the solution of purely professional issues, but most importantly - demonstrates his understanding of the beauty in the world, capable of raising a person above the ordinary. Especially in the present, alarming time of testing a person for the maturity of spiritual choice.
