In 1991 L. Talimonova’s first book, The Ancient World in My Hands, and the first album, My World, were released.
Lyubov Talimonova very early asked the questions: “Who am I? And why am I in this world? ”And it was in the process of searching for answers to the questions posed that she developed a philosophical mindset, developed her own understanding of the history of human civilization, the relationship of man and the universe, an understanding of the infinity of Cosmos and the value of earthly time. From her thoughts, visions, insights and dreams, she created her own special, unlike any other, fairy-tale and real, far and near, kind and joyful, radiant world. With her paintings and literary works, she called adults and children to reflect on life, to the knowledge of the mysterious and beautiful world, to the sublime joy of life. Serving the Truth, Good and Beauty has become the meaning of her life.
The artist herself defined her work as parapsychic painting. She said: “Painting for me is a whole story, a legend, a tale that I tell people without using words. Pictures are my world, I open it to people. ”
She wrote a whole series of paintings: “Harmony of the World”, “Traveling in Time”, “Wanderings of the Spirit”, “Megaliths” and others.
The geography of Lyubov Talimonova’s exhibitions — during her lifetime there were more than 30 — is not only wide, but also unusual. These are Russia, Ukraine, Poland, France, England, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Germany, China and… Space. In 1992-1993 the paintings of the then very young master made a six-month star trip aboard the Mir orbital station and were presented to the author at an exhibition in Star City with a Diploma of Yuri Gagarin. Pictures have autographs of astronauts and space mail stamps.
The distinctive contribution of L. Talimonova to the development of the ideas of the school of Russian cosmism is marked by a diploma of the X Congress of the International Association of Space Flight Participants. She was awarded this award along with science fiction writer I. A. Efremov, researcher J. I. Cousteau and space artist V. T. Chernovolenko.
Lyuba also talks about the people of megalithic civilization in his book “Foretellers of the Past” (1993), many fairy tales about the constellations also take place in those distant times. (The collection "Tales of the Constellations" was published in 1993 and in 2013.). The fairy tale about the mysterious Tuat people (based on the Irish epic) also belongs to this topic.
Careful attitude to all living things, love of nature found expression in the tale of L. Talimonova "Flower Elf", in "Lullabies".
The place of man in the universe, the interconnection and interdependence of stars and people - these questions were constantly occupied by Luba. In the search for answers, she is unexpected and unpredictable. The following paintings appear: “The Light of Other Worlds”, “The World of Subtle Radiant Energies”, “Far and Near”, “The Road of Memory”, “The Incredible Universe”, etc., as well as the children’s book “Tale of the Moon Elves”, which she richly illustrates (like all his books).
In 2000, already in England, Love wrote the first pages of the philosophical tale "The Swamp Prince". This is a hymn to spiritual nature, a hymn to life and love. Work on the book (52 copyright sheets) took 11 years. In 2012, the circulation of this book was published in Russia. The total circulation of Lyubov Talimonova’s books exceeds 500,000 ex. Some books have been translated into English and German; 16 books have been published electronically by the LITRES publishing house.
In England, the paintings “Guardian of the World”, “Bright Coast”, “The Lady”, “The Road of Memory”, “Times and Pyramids”, “Joy and Sorrow”, “Soul and Great Light”, “Wanderings of a joyful soul”, “Awakening” were painted Great Spirit ”,“ Expectation ”, etc. They contain philosophical depth and cosmic height of spirit, love of life, dream and reality.
Love Talimonova was a kind, sincere, open person. And although she had to go through exorbitant suffering (insulin-dependent diabetes from the age of 20 months, almost complete loss of vision at 24 years, kidney failure and more than 10 years of life on hemodialysis), her life was filled with the joy of knowledge and creativity. Like the star-girl from her fairy tale, Lyuba herself gave adults and children the wealth of her inner world, tried to touch the thinnest strings of the soul, offered to think about the beauty and infinity of the world, spoke in the language of the images created by her and color harmony about the multicolor and polyphonic cosmos.
Lyubov Talimonova was a member of the Union of Writers and the Union of Artists of Great Britain. Her paintings are stored in museums and private collections in many countries.
