Exhibition Ksenia Belyaeva "Heart of the World" Automatic translate

May 3 at 18:30 in the Perm Art Gallery opens a personal exhibition of contemporary artist Ksenia Belyaeva entitled "Heart of the World."

Ksenia Belyaeva’s art project includes 25 works of authorship and a voluminous installation in the shape of a heart. It is the heart that is the key image of the exhibition, which is found in almost all the artist’s works.

Although the imaginative series of Xenia’s works is much wider: these are the myths of pre-Columbian America, images from the favorite children’s tales of Andersen and Kipling. Such a bold combination of cultural symbols is no coincidence, since Xenia’s creative method is the fixation of her personal dreams.

Ksenia transforms the images of her subconsciousness into paintings, using her own original technique, mixing oil, acrylic on the canvas and complementing the paintings with embroidered details.

Ksenia Belyaeva’s works are decorative and full of ornamental motifs. But through the brightness of the color used by the artist, in which, if desired, you can see the roll-over with the color symbolism of Latin American myths, a purely author’s reflection on the themes of world mythology shines through.

According to one of the exhibition’s curators, deputy director for science Olga Startseva, Ksenia Belyaeva, an original and bright artist with her own image system, can use the quote from the American writer Carlos Castaneda: “Do not explain too much. There is an apology in every explanation. ”

Each work is accompanied by text, expanding the space for audience interpretation and helping to “enter the art world” of the artist.

Ksenia Belyaeva - artist, designer. Born in Perm. She graduated from the Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. Since 2004, lives in Barcelona. He has been painting and painting since 2011. Many images are written based on the dreams of the artist. In 2013 and 2014 participated in collective exhibitions of the Fantasista Art Group (Rome, Italy). Since 2015, a free artist.
