Patriotism, heroism, cohesion at different stages of history, inherent romantic aspirations of young people - all this is talentedly reflected in plot compositions, portraits, landscapes, canvases dedicated to peaceful life, heroes of the Great Patriotic War and participants in great Siberian construction projects. Among the artists included in the exposition are represented both capital masters (Alexander Deineka, Arkady Plastov, Alexander Moravov, Pavel Sokolov-Skalya), and prominent Siberian authors: Gleb Bogdanov, Alexander Shatalov, Anatoly Alekseev, Vitaly Rogal, Anatoly Kostovsky, Vladimir Kuzmin and others.
