Exhibition "Comics. Union of Artists" in Gallery A3 Automatic translate
MOSCOW EXHIBITION HALL "GALLERY AZ" invites to the exhibition of Lena Uzhinova and Alena Kamyshevskaya "Comics. Union of Artists. ”
Lena Uzhinova - winner of the comic book festivals ComMission (2004) and Bumfest (2007), production designer and screenwriter of the famous animated film "Zhikharka" (2006). Illustrator of business magazines. She graduated in 1987 from the Moscow Academic Art School in memory of 1905, worked in the Workshop of Industrial Graphics at the Moscow Union of Artists, studied and worked at the animation studio Pilot.
In 2006, she published her comic book, The Horrors of Life, which she considers her visiting card.
Alyona Kamyshevskaya - was published as a prose writer and illustrator in the independent erotic publication “More”. Having mastered this genre, I decided to try to continue the theme of sex in the comic. But, starting to draw stories, I realized that every image of sex coarsens and simplifies it. The result was a book - a graphic novel, “My Sex,” where there is not a single erotic image (Bumkniga Publishing House, 2014). A meditation book about what sex is - sex, sexual intimacy or love… or something else?
