The exhibition presents the work of artists who graduated from the Irkutsk Art College. I.L. Kopylova in different years and today working in various countries and cities: Irkutsk, Ust-Ilimsk, Bratsk, Sayansk, Krasnoyarsk, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Israel and Germany.
Irkutsk Art College named after I.L. Kopylova is one of the oldest and most famous art educational institutions in Siberia. More than a hundred years of history here educated more than three thousand artists, many of whom became famous masters. Graduates of the school work in various fields of fine art - painting, design, decorative and applied art, and teach art disciplines. Art College. I.L. Kopylova and his graduates for many years shape and personify the artistic life of Irkutsk and the Irkutsk region.
The exhibition in the Gallery of Siberian Art presents more than 100 works made in different types and genres of fine art: painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative and applied art. Among several dozens of authors there are such well-known names as Anatoly Kostovsky, Anatoly Pogrebnoy, Yuri Kvasov, Vyacheslav Glinsky, Natalya Sysoeva, Nikita Shobolov, Regina Prisyazhnikova. Also here you can see the work of college graduates who have long left Irkutsk, but do not lose touch with their alma mater. Among them are Alexey Talashchuk (St. Petersburg), Nikolai Rothko (Kemerovo), Sergey Nazarov, Daria Karabchuk (Krasnoyarsk), Dmitry Lushnikov (Moscow), Anna Zarnitskaya (Israel), Ekaterina Teterina (Germany).
