The composition of the exposition included about 40 paintings, created primarily in the 2010s. Among them are landscapes painted as a result of travels around the world - Germany, Italy, France, Israel. Many works are dedicated to his native city - Moscow.
The works of Irina Marts from the first instant conquer with sincerity, freshness of the worldview. They capture the beauty and sensuality of temperamental painting. They capture a life perceived gratefully, and therefore pure and significant in the most mundane manifestations. Here, the everyday is eventful: the onset of the morning with the foreboding of a busy day, the movement of the sun in the sky, the quirks of the weather, the discovery of the new in the known, the recognition of the close in the unknown.
Painting Marz informative. The artist concentrates his understanding of nature on the canvas and, discarding the insignificant, seeks to convey the picture of the world in its essence, integrity and harmony. The color is vibrant and juicy, boldly exaggerated, its contrasts extract powerful chords. Accurate relief strokes coarsely sculpt objects, carry them deep into space. A convincing, organic artistic reality charged with emotional currents is born on the artist’s canvases. Its space is filled with the joy of life, the tremulous delight of creativity.
Moscow, Moscow region, the Holy Land, Germany, Venice… In the artist’s paintings, the features of nature with its soul, color, light are subtly felt and expressed. Wherever and wherever Irina Martz writes, the works reflect her spiritual fusion with the surrounding reality. Coexistence of man and the natural or urban environment is also inextricably shown in her paintings. The invisible presence of the author is clearly felt on the canvases, as if we are in close proximity to him and look with him, as if becoming his co-author. This sharp intimate note gives Irina Marts works a bright personality.
