Grigory Lvovich Eidinov was born on December 22, 1946 in Kazan. He graduated from the Kazan Art College. Two works of Grigory Eidinov, which he performed during his studies, are included in the gold fund of art education in Russia. Grigory Lvovich worked at the Kazan enterprise of commercial advertising, designed theatrical and circus posters, costumes and decorations. Years of work at this enterprise gave unforgettable meetings with Emil Kio, Oleg Popov, Yuri Nikulin.
In 1990, Grigory Eidinov, the only one from the province, participated in the development of the new coat of arms of the Russian Federation, for which he was noted with a letter of thanks from the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin. Today, Grigory Lvovich is the author of numerous logos and corporate identity, including the newspaper “Evening Kazan”. Two state awards of Tatarstan - the orders “Duslyk” and “For Merits to the Republic of Tatarstan” are made according to his design.
For more than twenty years, Grigory Eidinov worked at the Tatar Book Publishing House, designed several hundred world classics (for example, Marquez, Hugo), Russian writers (for example, Bulgakov, Nabokov, Pasternak, Astafyev, collections of children’s poems "Asterisk", "Sparkle", " Flag ”), works of national literature (for example, tales of Tukay, Alisha, collections of works of Tatar writers for children“ Firuza ”).
For the past eighteen years, Grigory Lvovich has been working as the chief artist of the magazine Kazan, and is an assistant professor at the Kazan branch of the Moscow Academic Art Institute named after V. S. Surikov
Grigory Eidinov is the author of a huge number of studies and paintings. The list of his works is constantly updated - he is a participant in international open airs, creative laboratories, symposia, group and personal exhibitions.
Grigory Lvovich has many high ranks and regalia. He is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, an Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, a laureate of the Baki Urmanche Prize, a prize of the Republican Media Community “Crystal Pen” in the nomination “Design of a Publishing” and an international award “TURKSOY”, a six-time laureate of the All-Russian Contest “Book Art”, holder of the distinction "For the impeccable service of Kazan."
The artist’s works are stored in the funds of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Cultural Center, the museums of Yelabuga, Kirov, Kasimov, in Turkish Chanakkale and Ankara.
At the opening exhibition on February 2, 2017, “Khazine” presents about one hundred paintings and drawings by Grigory Lvovich Eidinov created by the artist in recent years.
