The expert council selected 109 finalists whose works will be presented at the exhibition. Also at the exhibition are the works of a group of ceramic artists from Moscow and St. Petersburg, for which ancient Greek ceramics: black-figured and red-figured vessels, vases, kiliks, lekifs, has always been a measure of the perfection of painting, composition, linear plastics. Ceramic sculpture, decorative compositions, objects, dishes, panels and vessels made of chamotte, porcelain and faience are exhibited. According to the curators, the joint existence of art forms so diverse in emotional strength - ceramics, known since ancient times, and photography, which appeared relatively recently - is deeply symbolic. Photographs convey a momentary sense of happiness - moments experienced relatively recently, and objects made of ceramics are likely to survive both the current generation of people and the next.
