Gallery “Ul. Malevich ", 3rd floor.
The artist Tanya Ruth was born and raised in the suburbs of St. Petersburg, and, like many as a child, devoted most of her time to drawing. However, it was creativity that became the artist’s first true love, grew into a vocation and a need for life.
“My black and white art is a balance, it is full of stripes and circles. I try to find a balance in each of my work: a balance of black and white colors, a balance of forms and, finally, a balance of feelings. In this way, I try to tell people that we can have dark times, as well as bright times, we can cry, or we can laugh, lose good people and meet new ones. But as a result, each person’s story is actually a work of art. We just need to understand this, we must value life in its various manifestations.
Therefore, I hope that my work will remind people all over the world how important it is to find “music”, even in the darkest times, and they will help to become more tolerant, positive and believe in the uniqueness of ourselves, ”Tanya Ruth.
